Organization is a MUST. It is a skill that is indirectly taught and practiced. It allows students to be prepared, as well as, focused. In a 5th grade reading classroom there are many components we focus on like spelling, vocabulary strategies, and comprehension, just to name few. This particular 5 subject notebook provides students with the opportunity to organize these components of reading in a way that allows them to find information quickly and have their materials readily available in one place. Due to the spiral covering, this 5 subject notebook is also sturdy enough for students to take in and out of their desks and backpacks without snagging a spiral and everything falling apart.
