As a requirement of their IEPs, my students are learning organizational skills to support their current learning as well as build life long skills. Learning organizational skills is a key executive functioning skill that will support students throughout their lives. Our classroom is always busy and needs a systematic routine to assist in meeting needs at both the academic and social/emotional level. These simple drawers will not only build student independence, but should also build confidence! Students will complete special tasks assigned that are found in each drawer, checking tasks off their list as they go! Thank you!
