Flexible seating is allowing and providing many seating options for students. This type of seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Giving students a comfortable spot/ environment in the room helps motivate them and keep them engaged during instruction. A mindfulness corner is a spot in the room designed with the sole intent of being a safe space for a child to go to when they feel their emotions are running too high and they need to regain their emotional and physical control.
