My students are sitting at old desks that take up a lot of room in the classroom. The new desks will allow the students to take pride in their work, be more organized, and provide more room for flexible seating. The new desk can easily be placed together for group work! The students love practicing what they have learned with their peers. Students also love reading and doing independent work in flexible seating. I would love to provide flexible seating without us being cramped and walking all over each other. The kidney table will be used as a place for small group instruction based on the needs of each student. The teacher will provide phonics instruction, fluency practice, comprehension practice, or math skills practice to students in need.
