Having a kidney table in our classroom will let me provide all my students with an interactive and comfortable small group instruction time. Small group instruction on the kidney table, can provide a comfortable environment and boost the confidence of students who might not otherwise participate in a lesson or activity. This kidney table would provide me an opportunity to address learning loss due to COVID-19 through small group instruction. Small group instruction allows me, the teacher, to focus on smaller groups of students at a time and provide personalized learning opportunities. Aside from that, the dry-erase surface of this table allows me to make small group instruction fun, and not just use pencils and paper. I will be able to implement expo markers, magnets..etc in my lessons to make learning interactive and engaging for students. The table even has a seat for me in the middle so that I can easily guide and help every student, it is also big enough for every student to learn comfortably and interact and collaborate with classmates.
