The project will allow students to express themselves. Journals will allow my students time to express their feelings and experiences through the process of reflective writing, which is important. Writing is a technique of releasing or letting go. This process is also a coping skill/technique as well as an opportunity to improve Literacy and writing. Students will be able to reflect and write about their daily experiences which will be forever captured. This process will allow for growth through review. Writing journals help students to capture their thoughts in the present. It is one of the best ways of expressing oneself.
