My students need flexible seating and fidget options to help them better function in a general education classroom where they can have the same experiences as their same age peers. Every student is general education student first and deserves the opportunity to learn and experience the same things as their same age peers. I have also included books that help kick start and foster conversations with their peers on how being different is an amazing thing. Acceptance is what I strive to teach because it extends further than school and the classroom. We are all different and unique which is beautiful!
