Last year, my school purchased supply pouches for EVERY student because they were not allowed to share due to the risk of spreading COVID. Turns out they were effective for not spreading germs, but also students were much more organized and prepared for class than ever before! Sadly, many of my students do not have basic supplies at home, but when we had to go virtual, they easily took their supply pouches home. TERRIFIC! Unfortunately, the school will NOT be purchasing pouches this year. I will be teaching Science to all of the 5th and 6th grade students at my school this year. Approximately 95 students total. We use pencils, red pens, highlighters, scissors and glue for our Science notebooks almost daily. Having ALL these items in a pouch is such a great organizational tool and timesaver considering Science class is only 30 minutes a day. Anything the students used during the pandemic year were not collected at the end of the year like usual but sent home with the kids. I am fortunate to still have some supplies, all except the pouches and scissors. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
