The lap desks will afford students the opportunity to move around the room working in stations instead of being at their desk all day. The easel will be used by both teacher and students to encourage critical thinking, reading, and writing skills. The easel will aid in teaching lessons to all students whole group, as well as become a station for students to use to interact with the story through rereading and writing. This will be engagine for them because they will not be at a desk expected to read and write. Collaboration and engagement are key! The smaller items on my list are for a light box station. It will be engaging for student to learn as the light shines through the materials.
