Rooornoona! The best way to learn and understand the sound of an elephant isn't to spell it or read it. (Even though I'm a college graduate, I'm still not sure how to spell that sound.) Watching an elephant trumpet might give you an idea, but you still won't entirely understand it fully. These headphones will help give my students a more complete understanding of the world around them. Howls from the rainforest, splashes from the ocean, simple words from the stories we are studying, pounding of trains bustling down the rails, and other bells or whistles will give my students a more complete understanding. I am always grateful when I can listen to music. There are so many ways these headphones will add to the instruction I give my students. The headphones will be used with different programs on the Chromebooks in my classroom. They can be used as a sound barrier to help a student concentrate while individually working on an assignment. Headphones in my classroom will be used for meditation, brain breaks, read-alouds, and learning games. I am excited to see how my classroom will be changed through the use of headphones.
