The tables and chairs will be used in our Dramatic Play center. Dramatic play teaches and promotes expressive language. Children are motivated to communicate with their peers and learn to speak through their pretend roles. Dramatic play is often a good way for children who are shy or with low confidence to participate in group play. Sensory play builds language development, cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving and social interaction. The sand and water table will play a huge role in our sensory play. Research shows sensory play builds nerve connections in the brain which lead to the child's ability to complete more complex learning tasks.
