My students are slowly but surely learning how to get organized and become independent with their materials. This is such an important part of any classroom. I currently have Dollar Tree seat sacks to hold their folders, whiteboards, pencil cases, and classroom books. My students use their seat sacks every period of the day because they always need their supplies for learning. Because of the low quality fabric, the seat sacks tend to rip and fall apart easily. When this happens, supplies are often spilling onto the floor instead of staying in the pocket. This can be very frustrating for a young learner who has a desire to be responsible for their own items. With this, our small but crucial beginning reader books become damaged or ripped from their time spent on the floor. Headphone cords become tangled with their chairs, which is a huge safety hazard. Your donation towards sturdy seat sacks will ensure my students have easy access to all of their learning materials. The seat sacks will let my students keep their books safe from being damaged as well. In the end, your donation will save me the costs on replacing leveled books geared towards each students' specific reading needs.
