My hope with this project is to get 8th-grade students actively and willingly involved in reading/writing. Online I have found and use many of the stories that I use in the classroom. I still however have many students who prefer a hard copy of a book or story, thus the request for books to replace worn copies. With the online program, equipment and gift card I have requested, I will be able to provide students with a more interactive learning experience. These materials will be used throughout the school year to enhance interaction with text and digitally share student work with classmates.
