These arts and crafts materials will allow my Pre-K kiddos to use their creativity to complete activities that go along with our lesson of the day. The sensory materials will help those students with special needs to be able to calm themselves and to stay focus. The social/emotional items will help each child to understand their feelings and why other students are feeling certain ways. My Pre-k students are noticeably more engaged in the lesson and less disruptive of their peers when they are given strategies and items to help control their emotions. I am very excited to help my Pre-k kiddos to understand their emotions and feelings. Since all children learn in different ways the variety of materials will help them all learn the skills needed in Pre-K. The other materials will also help the children to express their creativity during our daily lessons. This will all help the children to learn the skills needed to grow academically and socially.
