Students will be able to use the flexible seating area at various times. Sometimes it will be while completing individual work. Other times it may be used as a reward for completing work correctly. I also intend to use this for classroom management, allowing students to earn a pass to sit in the flexible seating area during the days lesson. Sitting at the same desk and hard chair for 3 hours is exhausting and makes it easy to lose focus. Allowing students to earn time out of their regular seat and in a cozy area will strengthen their work ethic, as well as behavior.
