This project is made for the elementary school students to have children learn how to grow, harvest and prepare food fresh from the garden. Students will join a club from the younger grades of Kindergarten to the older grades of Middle School, to cultivate seeds and grow a community garden that fully feeds children in the school and at home. Vegetables, Spices and Fruits will all go towards the kids, and a bi-weekly school farmer's market will help support the school's needs as well. The program will strive to help children think about their productivity and push them to grow their own gardens in their own communities. Their learning outcome will conclude with them able to harvest and present the vegetables for a school farmer's market to better support the school's structure and add various necessities. This project is meant to teach students how to manage, run and maintain a food-to-store business, which will benefit parents, community and school staff and students.
