The items I have chosen line up with the standards my students will be learning throughout the year. I have always noticed math as a struggle for some students, however, when you are able to add in manipulatives it can bring math to life given students the exposure they need to fully comprehend a standard. Math is all around us in life and I want my students to be able to apply what they know to real-life situations and with the right tools, they are able to do so! By donating to my project you are helping a student create a growth mindset that allows them to learn the way that best suits them! In our classroom there is no limit! One of the biggest struggles I notice in my students is knowing their multiplication facts. A foundation they need to have set in stone to master most other math standards. The use of multiplication board games, card games, and hands-on materials will help students practice their skills daily while enriching their learning experience.
