The materials that I am requesting for my students will give them the opportunity to create projects in class that will help them in learning the content being taught. I also requested some posters that students can refer to at the beginning of the day to internalize positive affirmations over their lives. Additionally, students can refer to these affirmations when they become upset to help ease their mood. I also requested a poster that will assign students with classroom jobs for the week. Students love being able to be involved in their classroom and these jobs will give them an idea of what it means to be a part of and take care of their community.
