In math, we will be calculating and solving problems with various levels of difficulty. The calculators I am asking for will provide my students with a tool to quickly solve multiple types of equations. The special buttons like the square root and pi features will allow my students to get a better approximation when finding volume and area of shapes. Calculators will also be used as a way for students to double check their mental arithmetic. On the other hand, the white boards will be a great way for me to see students work in live action and guide my instruction for reteach or mastery.
