A newer trend in education is flexible seating choices! I have selected yoga ball seats, wobble cushions, and floor pillows to give students options in their learning environment! Some students will prefer a traditional desk chair, others will appreciate a cozier option, and some will use the ability to move while continuing to focus on lessons. I’m picturing auditorium type seating in my classroom featuring tables and seats at varying height levels. Not only does this make the learning environment more interesting, it also helps to make sure all students can see without obstacles. Many students have difficulty sitting still for long periods of time, these seating choices will feature the ability to move safely within their learning space. Thank you so much for helping to create a welcoming and FUN classroom for my students!
