Students are able to express themselves uniquely through various mediums in art. I strive to provide my students with as many opportunities to create personal art using different approaches as possible. My students come from very diverse backgrounds and in my class it is the first time for many to experience using different mediums. This hands on approach to learning helps to build self-esteem and creative thinking as they master each medium. The students look forward to each new lesson I introduce because of they know they will get to do something new. With new supplies I will be able to continue to support the creativity of each child.
