Children's earliest experiences are learning to read are by using their letters and letter sounds. They need to be able to see their letters, to manipulate the letters with their hands, to match the letters together using uppercase and lowercase letters, and then, to begin using those letters to create words. They learn best using manipulative and materials that allow for hands-on learning. These are very curious individuals that are unique with all learning abilities. They all learn in different ways of exploring and building vocabulary to be ready for the world.
