My students need rich, quality text to help them foster and develop the love of reading. Quality text is hard to obtain and to place in the hands of children, but I am a strong believer that it must be available for all students in order to make them better readers. I included some chapter books as well as reading kits to help my students make connections between fiction and nonfiction text. The text provided is slightly above grade level and will also be a great challenge for my students!
