The class set of headphones will be useful for independent study. Students use a choice board to pick which three practice activities they want to complete during our practice portions of our units. These activities always involve their Chromebooks and approved online math games (with music, talking and other sounds). There are also times in the year when I am absent from the classroom. In my absence, I use a program where I can pre-record my lessons and post them to my Google classroom for students to listen to and watch and complete while I’m out of the classroom.
