The use of manipulatives is a hands-on approach to learning that keeps students actively involved and engaged in the curriculum. Fidget Boards provides students the opportunity to compute math problems, think strategically about number sense, and decode words for phonics and spelling practice. In our classroom we will use these tools to create conversations about our learning and seek to find answers in a multimodal way. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and engagement, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to create content, share their ideas with their classmates, and start conversations about their learning. Simultaneously, in a world filled with technology and innovation, you will be increasing their technological literacy and their desire to learn in creative ways!
