This year brought about many unique challenges for students. Throughout the pandemic, many children did not have access to library books, or books of their own. In addition to this, many students did not have the opportunity to be read to on a regular basis. My goal is to collect quality books that engage students in the content we will learn throughout the year, as well as foster a love of reading. Although these books will primarily be utilized for class read-alouds, students will also have access to them for independent reading.

About my class
