Impacted by limited space in our urban location, my students enter a concrete building reflective of the hostile urban architecture of the 90's. My students' only view is through a single window opening into a wall. I want to provide a beautiful learning environment that inspires collaboration, creativity and critical thinking. Students can choose to sit on couches, tables or rugs. Vine walls, hanging plants, and their own writing and art will fill our walls. Our classroom will communicate, "In this space you are valued as an individual and a member of our community."
