The materials in this project will help to make our classroom more accessible for my students with disabilities. Giving my students flexible seating options helps them with their sensory needs while also providing them with an opportunity to work on core strength. The room dividers help to minimize distractions so that we can work one-on-one with the students, they can do independent work, practice functional skills, and the dividers provide an effective way to create visual boundaries within the classroom for my students. While our classroom is a community, we work closely with each student individually every day to help meet their needs.
