Each classroom is provided with one chair per student. This can be challenging because students have to work in various areas of the classroom for example the computer tables, or small group table. With the current dynamics students are carrying their chairs and materials around the room in order to learn. By receiving these items for my classroom students are able to bring just their bodies to learn, and in turn increase classroom engagement. Encouraging students to take charge and make choices that benefit their learning starts with them first being comfortable!
