The tool of using dry-erase clipboards and privacy shields was a daily use in my previous student teaching activities that I would love to include in my now own classroom! During a math lesson, students practiced their understanding from their desk or class rug. I put a problem to practice on the class board, and the students worked the problem out and showed their answer on their dry-erase board. This allowed me to see what they were doing and if they were showing knowledge. Once they practiced the skill, they put up their own privacy shield to be comfortable when being assessed.
