My students are absolutely amazing! I would like to offer them a setting that better meets their needs. Research states that LED lighting creates a more nurturing environment for autistic students. Wobble seats and wobble cushions are also shown to provide the sensory input that students need to help them focus on their assignments, as well as help strengthen muscles since these allow students to keep their legs active as they sit. In addition, I am in need of new and current reading material for my classroom. I would especially like to get a class set of an educational magazine that could be used for independent or guided reading, as well as lessons involving Social Emotional Learning.
