Reading fluently is an important component of becoming a good reader. Unfortunately, fluency is often overlooked at the secondary level - oftentimes because the processes and practices are viewed as 'elementary'; passages and pictures are not geared toward secondary students. A recently discovered web resource makes practicing fluency more accessible for our older students! Part of this program involves reading aloud and recording your readings. In order to do so, headphones with microphones are essential! I will purchase the program, I am hoping for help with the headphones with microphones. Additionally, the microphones will allow students with significant writing deficits the ability to dictate essays and extended responses in all content areas. They have the knowledge, however, they are not always able to show it because they struggle to write efficiently. Help equip our students with the tools to 'bridge the gap'!
