These books will be used for a classroom library to promote reading fluency, comprehension, and analytical skills. When Students have the materials to build literacy, they become more literate and independent in future positions of leadership & innovation. These students will be able to use the class set of books for literacy circles. Literacy circles enable students to study a novel and take responsibility for their learning because each person has specific duties that engage their minds with the text, thus promoting collaborative work; a necessary skill in the workforce.

About my class
