Students will use nature notebooks and pencils to create, write and sketch what they observe. We will also use The Audubon Society Adventure classroom kits and nature packets as additional curriculum. I will lead forest bathing sessions outside to take in nature's atmosphere using our five senses. Students will use these materials to create a Nature/ Forest Bathing notebook. Forest Bathing will help them understand nature and its healing effects. Being calm and quiet, breathing deeply, and immersing our senses in nature will lead to relaxation and appreciation of our environment.
