The amazing young learners in my classroom all have a variety of sensory needs. When our sensory needs are met, we are more able to engage in meaningful learning experiences. For my learners, these needs are met in so many different ways. A majority of my learners do seek out some type of vestibular input on a daily basis. Having access to a scooter board ramp, would give them another functional option to help meet this need. After this need is met, they are then more likely to play, learn, and have fun being kids!
