I have students who come from a low- income home and may not have the opportunity to play or go outside at home, so when they come to school, I want them to have fun while exercising. Some of my kids need an outlet or some space to be free and clear their minds and release stress or emotions that they may have bottled up at home so when they come to P.E. they can use those emotions to fuel them to play. I want to teach them that being active helps clear the mind and helps keep you healthy. I also want them to learn how to play with others, some of my kids don't understand that in order to play sports for a team, they have to be able to work together to win a game.

About my class
