These books will be used in our classroom to foster a love for reading. I believe that relatable characters will help my students enjoy the stories that much more. I also feel that my students need to see and read about people that have made an impact in our society. I love biographies for this very reason. These books will be used for independent reading in the classroom, as well as mentor texts to teach different skills. I plan on reading many of these books aloud with my students, discussing reading skills, growth mindset, and social studies topics. Thank you for helping my students become lifelong readers!
