When a child first walks into a classroom, the impression he/she gets sets the tone for the year. As a Pre-K/Early Childhood teacher, some of my students have never been to school before and their experiences in my classroom will set the stage for the remainder of their education. Therefore, it is important to create a classroom that is inviting for my students so that they will develop a love for school and learning. A circle time rug is the heart of a classroom. It is where students join together for morning meeting, read alouds, group lessons, and brain breaks. It is where we will meet together for the first time on the first day of school. This rug will be the perfect addition to our classroom for the new year and will be loved by our my students for years to come.
