This brain model will allow me to show the students different parts of the brain in my psychology classes. Although you can show images of the brain on the overhead projector, the life size 3d model that you can take apart and put together will make enhance any lesson related to neuroscience. My kinesthetic learners will get much more out of the lessons. In addition, students will be more engaged, thus they will remember the content better and longer. This project is part of my intention to incorporate hands-on learning in my classes.
