The use of flexible seating is a new concept, both widely accepted and research supported. Many of my students have disabilities that affect their ability to sit still and focus for extended periods of time. Flexible seating allows my students to lean, tilt, bounce, wobble, and more while they are learning. As we have all experienced, constantly redirecting students to not lean back in chairs or get up during a lesson is both exhausting and unfair. Students need to move, and they long for a level of flexibility that breaks the boundaries of traditional learning. By donating to this project, you will be providing students with resources that make learning fun, engaging, and most importantly, not frustrating.
