This rug will allow my students to come together as one. Time on the carpet is one of the most looked-forward to times of the day for my students. They love being able to be surrounded by their fellow classmates learning alongside them, but yet still having their own personal space. The rug will be used multiple times throughout the day for each new topic we explore in Math, Reading Workshop, Writing Workshop, Social Science, Science, and even during independent work time! The carpet is one of the most important supplies needed in a classroom to foster learning, creativity, and build the classroom family community we all strive for.

About my class
