These materials will help me bring learning to life and are conducive to hands-on, meaningful experiences, especially for my struggling readers. I believe that all students can learn. I just have to meet each student where he/she is at to help them reach academic goals. The magnetic word strips or sentence blocks will be placed in the Reading center. I will also use them during intervention with my small groups or one-to-one. Students will also be given the opportunity to to take home these manipulative in small baggies to encourage parental involvement.
