Flexible seating allows students to be more independent learners. It makes the classroom more accessible for students and opens the room to multiple learning styles. The lap desks allows you to sit evenly without leaning to either side, the wobble chair allows students to wiggle while at their work area, focusing more effectively on their learning. The wobble feet and bouncy bands are also effective ‘wiggle’ tools for students who find it difficult to sit still. Flexible seating allows students to wobble, rock, bounce, lean, or stand, to complete assignments. Their minds are more alert and focused. The chairs and tables that I have chosen will be the beginning of a classroom environment where the students are empowered and have greater control over their learning.
