Think back to working from home this year. Did you work at a desk all the time? Did you enjoy working from the couch or standing at a counter? Just like adults, kids like the freedom to figure out how and where they want to work. When students have choices in what their school day looks like, they learn better! With your support, students will be excited to snuggle up on a pillow in the reading corner, thrilled to pull out an ottoman chair when working on a group project, or inspired to use a wobble seat when feeling restless. Our classroom will feel more comfortable and allow kiddos to make decisions about where and how they learn best. When movement is part of the school day, students learn better! Last year was a tough one for all our students. They were tremendous in their persistence to keep learning despite difficulties. Let's welcome them back to school in a comfortable environment and support these fantastic fourth-graders in figuring out what space works best for their learning!
