Following distance learning and the unusual classroom arrangements of the 2020/2021 school year, it is so important for my Special Education students to have a comfortable, relaxing, and safe environment to allow them to focus on learning! The aim of this project is to provide a Special Education environment that is calming, comfortable, and well-stocked to ensure my student's environment helps them focus and succeed socially and academically. By providing optional seating, a calming color palette, and having the appropriate supplies, I will be able to provide my students an environment that encourages and allows learning.
