Graduated Cylinders and Beakers are ESSENTIAL to ANY science classroom no matter the grade level, they will be used for demonstration purposes as well as in science experiments required in the curriculum. A microscope is also essential for any science classroom -- they help scientists study microorganisms, cells, cell structures among other things. Magnets -- magnetism is an invisible force that pushes and pulls objects; we will use the magnets to demonstrate force and motion. Technology is essential in any classroom today -- my classroom currently has NONE. The iPad will be used to present information, lessons, videos, etc -- the stylus will also make using the iPad more efficient. The desk chair in my classroom is also broken and non-functioning. Last but not least -- storage and organization is KEY to any classroom environment. The BankersBox with 8 compartments will help keep the classroom nice and organized. Due to unforeseen circumstances within my district, the request for these basic necessities can't be approved for awhile. I want to give my students a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment -- they've been through so much the past year and a half and deserve at least that.
