My students will be using the books for a number of projects and to have an extensive classroom library filled with diverse, inclusive, educational books of all genres. They will be using the books to learn about people who have made a difference in our world, different places, historic events, and more. These will help them improve their reading, and help them complete a number of projects that we have planned throughout the year, including comparing and contrasting books to actual current events, and it will also help them see examples of memoirs before they write their own. My students will also be able to check out the book from our classroom library just to read or for projects.
