Having a classroom of divers learners makes meeting their needs difficult. Allowing students a choice in seating allows students to have a voice in their learning. When students have a voice, they invest in their learning. Flexible seating also allows nuerodivergent students to get their needs met, without standing out. This creates an environment of empathy and acceptance! Not only does flexible seating foster a voice for student learning, it also helps students who would disrupt class by giving them goals and a way of using their focus in a more productive way!

About my class
