I am a first year teacher setting up my very first classroom! My school does not have the funds to give me a budget to get going. The area rug will provide my students with a space to gather for morning meetings, read alouds, and give our classroom some personality. The cubes, clocks, and plastic money will give my students a hands on opportunity to learn various math concepts that are specific to first grade. The green lap desks will serve as flexible seating options and brighten up our room!
