I have found that all my students LOVE doing sports activities in the classroom, and indoor sports have awarded us many benefits, including: -Better emotional regulation and quicker recovery from emotional dysregulation -Improved hand-eye coordination and greater confidence participating in PE activities -Hands-on communication practice for students with limited communication skills -Increased interaction with others and opportunities to improve social and cooperation skills -More joy! The equipment I currently have in my room is limited and too hard to use safely in a classroom. Some of the students are specifically in need of softer equipment due to hyper-sensitivity. Thank you!
